BENEFITS OF WATER HARVESTING

For every 1,000 square foot of roof in a 1 inch frame you can collect 600 gallons of water.
Our water harvesting systems aim to conserve rainwater for future consumption, given the limited water resources in the area, rapidly growing population, dry climate, and drought-prone conditions. Rainwater can be collected between 8 to 12 months of the year in the Los Angeles area.

Almost 80 percent of our water is imported from North Carolina and the Colorado River, with some of it traveling as long as 390 miles. The average residential water consumption is about 144 gallons per day, with irrigation accounting for up to 40 percent of overall usage.

In addition to that, water harvesting systems help control water pollution by reducing rain runoffs into rivers and streams. Runoffs from streets contain toxic metals like lead and copper, as well as other contaminants.
